The first distinction

Spiritual Quotient (SQ)

Your Spiritual Quotient represents the very essence of who you are & is the source code to your EQ and PQ, explained elsewhere.

Spiritual intelligence is defined by your capacity to consistently behave with “compassion and wisdom”, while maintaining inner & outer peace, regardless of the circumstances. In essence, your Spiritual Quotient is a measure of your ability to Love with a capital “L” not in any way to be confused with romantic love.

Faith

Your Spiritual Quotient is the measure of your capacity to have faith. Faith in yourself, faith in others and above all, faith in the very process of life.  Faith has been defined by spiritual leaders as “the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen”

It’s your Spiritual Quotient that determines your capacity to experience an ongoing sense of inner peace, freedom from stress and an ability to live consciously, as one who is no stranger to moments of serenity.

Traits of those who’ve developed a high Spiritual Quotient

o    A personal value system that embraces all human & animal beings

o    Strong sense of life purpose

o    Freedom from bottled anger and resentment

o    High level of self awareness and self esteem

o    Freedom from a need to judge others’ behaviour, values or morals

Note:

Whilst it is not necessary to possess every one of the above traits to be considered a high SQ person, anyone with a high SQ would certainly possess a majority of them and acquiring the rest of them could be a means of developing his or her Spiritual Quotient that much further.
